No. Vouchiva is a complete standalone plugin with its own shop, checkout and payment gateways. If you already run WooCommerce, the optional integration lets you sell vouchers in your cart and let guests redeem them at WooCommerce checkout.

A WordPress website (5.8 or newer) running PHP 8.0 or newer, with an SSL certificate for online payments. It works with any theme — block themes and classic themes alike.

Most properties publish their first voucher the same day: install the plugin, connect a payment method, create a product with a photo and a price, and add the shop to a page with a shortcode.

Never. Payments go directly to your own Stripe, PayPal or Satispay account, or to your bank account for transfers. You only pay your Vouchiva plan — plus the usual fees of the payment provider you choose.

Amount vouchers (fixed amounts, a free amount within a range, or both) and experience vouchers (a stay, a treatment, a dinner, a tour). Experiences can be priced per participant and by duration — for example 60, 90 or 120 minutes, each with its own price.

Instantly by email, as a branded PDF with a QR code and a unique code. The buyer can send it directly to the recipient with a personal message, or to themselves to print and wrap. The buyer also receives an order confirmation with a purchase receipt.

You decide: set a default validity for the whole site, or a specific validity in months for each product. The expiry date is printed on the voucher.

Each team member gets their own login to a dedicated staff area — no WordPress admin access needed. They scan the QR code with the phone camera or type the code, see instantly whether it is valid, and redeem it. Amount vouchers can be redeemed partially, keeping the remaining balance.

Yes. Create your properties (hotels, spa, restaurant…), choose where each voucher is valid, and assign staff to the properties they work at. Managers can run properties, staff and catalogs from the front-end; regular staff only see what they need.

English, Italian and German are built in. With Polylang, checkout, vouchers and emails automatically follow the language the guest is browsing in — and each order remembers its language, so a voucher bought in German stays in German.

Yes: a cover photo and description per product, your own terms of use, and fully editable email templates with a live preview. Custom brand colours are available from the Pro plan; the Agency plan removes the “Powered by Vouchiva” badge.

On your own website, in your own database. Vouchiva is self-hosted: we never receive your guests’ names, emails or orders. Licensing only exchanges technical data (such as your site URL and plugin version) with Freemius.

Freemius, our reseller and Merchant of Record, processes payments, issues invoices and handles VAT. From the Freemius customer portal you can download the plugin, manage licences and update your payment method.

Nothing is deleted. Vouchiva falls back to the Free plan limits and your existing vouchers remain valid and redeemable. Renew at any time to unlock your plan again.

Yes — the Agency plan covers up to 10 websites and is white label, so your clients see their brand, not ours.
